Hi! My name is Jimson Ma and I'm a full-stack software engineer from the San Francisco Bay Area. My favorite languages are JavaScript and Python and I enjoy working on projects that solve real-world problems.
About Me
I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a degree in International Business. However, I realized that wasn't the right field for me and made the switch to software engineering in 2021. Since then I've created projects with JavaScript, Python, React, Redux, Flask, Express, SQL, and Docker. I enjoy learning about new technologies and am passionate about creating web applications people will love using.
In my free time I like to play board games and try new sports.

A strava inspired application created for users to be able to create walks for their dog(s) and track its walking habits/metrics. This app was built using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Python, React, Redux, AWS, and Flask-SQLAlchemy.

A clone of the online audio distribution and music sharing site, SoundCloud. This app was built using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Redux, PostgreSQL, Sequelize, AWS S3, and Express.
Stock Overflow
A Stack Overflow inspired site themed around stocks, cryptocurrency, and finance. This app was built using vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Pug, and Express.
